School Supplies Product Donation Guidelines


Product must be new and K-12 appropriate. Scratch and dent items must be otherwise fully functional.

Gently  used items (clothing, household items, furniture, appliances) are  accepted on a case by case basis, and may require to be delivered at  donor’s cost.

Products intended for use in the classroom must meet the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) guidelines.

The Sophia Elizabeth Foundation Affiliates are not in a position  to transport industrial products, chemicals, cleaning products larger  than consumer size, or any items that require hazmat level shipping.

 
Food & Fund Drives

A Team Effort
By  holding a food drive with your friends, family, or coworkers, you can  help put an end to hunger and provide foods that people in our community  need most. 

Most-needed Food Items
Non-perishable  items can be used for both our Shelly's Kitchen Program and M25 Program  (direct distribution to people in need in our community.)

Some wish list items include:
- canned fruits and vegetables
- peanut butter
- canned tuna and chicken
- dry pastas
- boxed macaroni and cheese
- canned soups

Note: Perishable, homemade, and home-canned items are  accepted on a case by case basis.

Donor and Volunteer Privacy Statement Our Commitment to Our Donors & Volunteers:

The  Sophia Elizabeth Foundation will not sell, share, or trade our donors’  or Volunteers’ name or personal information with any other entity, nor  send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.

The  Sophia Elizabeth Foundation is committed to respecting the privacy  rights of all our supporters. To accomplish this, we commit to the  following:

We seek and record only the information that is relevant to the outreach of the organization.
Our donor & Volunteer files will not be exchanged with, given to, sold to, or rented to any other organization.
Information  on our partners (i.e. our mailing list or donor giving records) is only  given to persons who need such information to perform their assigned  duties for The Sophia Elizabeth Foundation. This includes companies who  prepare mailings, analyze and append data, contact donors on our behalf,  or other uses related to the fulfillment of The Sophia Elizabeth  Foundation’s purposes.
